Some Good Reasons To Think Twice About Hiring:

OLVIS IMMIGRATION AND TRAVEL

Hello, and let me introduce myself my name is Mike McGough and in May of 2002, I hired Mike Tessitore, of Olvis Immigration and Travel to handle all the paperwork and do what his service claims to offer. For all the accolades you will read on his site there are some things you need to know about him and his company. As a client I have been very dissatisfied with the quality of service I have received from his company.

I will detail and much as I can and then I will provide a page with various emails to and from myself and Mr. Tessitore.

I started dealing with him before April of 2003 asking general things about how to get my fiancée here and about getting a plane ticket to go over there. He was great through all that, until I paid him his outlandish $795.00 fee the service you will receive from his office is not worth that much money in any way shape or form, he takes advantage of people who are in a difficult situation. I paid his fee one month or so after my departure from the Philippines and it was paid around May 3rd. Due to a mistake by his office my papers were delayed and I was unable to file them until June 4th. Mr. Tessitore would accept no responsibility for the mistake and tried to place the blame upon my fiancée. This is something you need to watch out for. He, nor his staff take responsibility for their mistakes, he will try to explain it away as some sort of misunderstanding. Thing is I was in the office with my fiancée when she told them these things and it was not her fault in any way.

That was the first error from Olvis. The second has come pretty recently, August 2003. Due to the fact I was offered a new job recently and was only at the other for two months I asked Mr. Tessitore to complete a co-sponsor application with my parents as co-sponsors, he told me "You will not need it, you will not be declined for money things" Granted I was not completely declined, however when she had her interview the consular officer asked for my last two months pay stubs and a letter of employment from my previous employer. Had he done what I had asked him to the visa most likely would have been approved on the spot, however he did not and thanks to him and his less then satisfactory customer service we are now going through a delay in the process which is now over as of October 2003.

Another thing that he did that I thought was pretty sneaky was we had been in a debate about whether or not the original approval notices were needed, the one from the BCIS and the second from the National Visa Center. I had called and spoke with three different people at the embassy and they even told me that they were not needed. So I was not going to send them at all. However, when my fiancée went in for her consultation service with Olvis in Cebu before her interview Mr. Tessitore had her sign something saying that she would not hold them legally responsible should we need them and they hold up the papers because we did not have them. I was not told about her signing these papers until she told me. I thought it was pretty underhanded and I just though I would put a warning out there to any perspective clientele. I will post that email on the email page as well.

Also during the time that she went for the consultation service they were so busy all she got was her papers that she had been giving them and a quick run over the interview, they rushed her through and did not do their job all that well and perform the service exactly as they said they would. About his office in the Philippines, it has moved three times since I have known Mr. Tessitore, when I started my dealings with him it was in the Cebu Plaza Hotel, from there to his Mother-in-laws house, and from there to yet another location.

And I found this on their site which I listed earlier, which I could not resist posting since it is such an outright lie or at least was in our case:

"You’ll discover why 42% of the girls (not the ones I handle) leave the Embassy – crying! And, they’re NOT crying for joy. They’ve been rejected! Again – you need someone over there to help your fiancé every step of the way." Taken from his site at http://www.olvis.com

Yes, and where was all this assistance when he was asked very specifically to complete an co-sponsor support form, and this was one of the ones he handled and she was crying and upset due to the fact he did not do what I asked him to do, like I said earlier if he had she would have been approved that day. I am just trying to warn you folks, this is what you are in for should you choose to use his organization. His webpage makes it sound like he is the best of the best, truth is he is not and like I said have said previously once he has your money a lot of things change. Use this company at your own risk and do not say I didn't tell you so when you get treated the way I have.

There are plenty of websites and other places you can go and do this stuff YOURSELF without all the hassle and abuse you will get with Olvis Immigration and Travel, and especially from Mr. Tessitore as you can see from the emails I have posted. One of the most recent abuses was a veiled threat when I called and talked to him. He said and I quote "I can make a phone call and have any of these visa processes stopped without even telling them who I am." He said he did not like the fact that I had been running the company down and asked me to say some good things about him from time to time. I will say this much good about them, they did a good job with the paperwork once I got it from them. They were severely lacking in other areas.
